The Love Triangle: Peeta or Gale?

Before you proceed, I would like to tell you that this has MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ALL BOOKS. Oh, and that this is my first entry.:3
Ah... the love triangle. Such a hot topic of debate. Team Peeta, or Team Gale?
Personally, I am Team Peeta, because Gale is so... unforgiving. So cold and calculating. Well, in Mockingjay, Peeta was like that--cold and unforgiving. But that wasn't even his fault. He didn't even have a choice. The Capitol hijacked him. Whereas Gale had a choice, and he chose to be that way.
But I'm not saying Gale is a bad choice, though I think he is. If you look at his good side, Gale is brave, a good hunting partner and according to the book, he was good looking and would risk his life for the rebellion, and Katniss. But I think he does it for the wrong reasons.
He's rebelling because he wants revenge against the Capitol for obvious reasons. But if you look at it another way, they're rebelling because they want to stop the Hunger Games. If the Capitol was ruled by a good president, he wouldn't want revenge against them.
So I think that's why Katniss said that Gale's fire was 'kindled with rage and hatred', whereas Peeta's fire was... different.
Peeta hated killing. In The Hunger Games, Peeta refused to kill unless someone threatened to kill him or Katniss.
Peeta was generous, too. Like in Catching Fire, when he said that Rue's and Thresh's families will get a portion of their winnings each month. And how could we forget the bread incident? He took a beating to give the girl he loved a loaf of bread. Very sweet, if you ask me.
So I think I have explained why I am Team Peeta. But if you are Team Gale, I have nothing against you.
It's your opinion, after all. If you think Katniss should stay single, that's okay, too. But please comment.
